Product Changelog

Shamira 2.0.0

Version 1.0 had one fixed, opinionated layout. Version 2.0.0 introduces flexible panels, with the default setup still available whenever teams want it.

v2.0.0 Released Feb 11, 2026

Release Narrative

Version 1.0 focused on reliability first. We kept shipping features over time, but the workspace itself stayed fixed around my own opinionated layout.

2.0.0 changes that. Teams can now move, resize, and arrange panels freely, whether they want a minimal setup or a dense command view.

Teams can also run directly from their venue site plan by overlaying operational context, including booth layouts and safety-relevant map references.

We added side panels for phonebook and coordinate lookups, so teams can pull contacts and exact map references without leaving the command view.

We also added embedded documents, so teams can keep PDFs like safety plans and incident guides visible while they coordinate live responses.

Incident history is now richer as well, so teams can review full timelines with stronger evidence context after intense shifts.

The old default is still easy to open through quick buttons, but it is no longer enforced. Use it as a starting point, keep it, or make the workspace your own.
